Recent Milestones

Meetings & Collaboration

The project team has held two formal meetings with the Johnson County Tourism Association and Toby Carrig to align our strategy with county-wide goals.

Survey Framework

We have successfully drafted the community and stakeholder survey questions, which will serve as the primary data collection tool for this initiative.

Background Research

A comprehensive background paper on Johnson County has been finalized, detailing the demographic, economic status of our tourism regions, and the goals of our project.

Current Progress

Road Through Hills

Expanding Our Reach

Our project is built on meaningful participation. Recently, an introductory email was issued via the Johnson County newsletter, reaching approximately 200 community members to share the vision of the project. Additionally, our team has identified and engaged a targeted list of 30 key stakeholders whose collaboration is essential to aligning the county's stakeholders and JCTA 2050 Master Plan.

Defining the Path Forward

We aim to finalize our survey questions as soon as possible. After the survey is finalized, we will begin dispering it to local stakeholders. On March 30th, we will conduct in-person interviews with 6-8 key stakeholders across different industries. These insights will help us in refining recommendations based on local feedback.

Contact and Feedback

We value your input on the Connecting Johnson County project. Whether you are a resident or a business stakeholder, your questions and ideas are vital to our progress. Please join the conversation and share your vision by completing our survey.
